View moreIn my opinion, I believe that the Marketing course program manages to give an overview of management, communication and other subjects that I consider important for general knowledge of business and the market. If I could improve, it would be to increase the practical and internship component, have two more modules on digital marketing, and something deeper on copywriting and multimedia.
In general, the university has all the conditions for study, logistics, and resources to train any student in any area.
Since my area is Marketing, I liked my apprenticeship program, as it involved several areas, from entrepreneurship, relational marketing, direct marketing, sales force management, among other interesting areas such as accounting and finance.
In addition to this, the School of Economics and Management at the University of Minho had several free workshops for its students, from skills development in design programs to Excel, among others.
I’m studying Marketing, it’s a relatively new course at our university. I feel that there is a lack of more direct contact with the job market and with companies. The practical part is also missing, the course is too theoretical. When we got to the job market, we weren’t able to meet the employer’s demands.

The University of Minho as a whole is an institution that I really enjoyed attending and in which I grew a lot on a personal level. It has an amazing university atmosphere.
However, as a Marketing student at the School of Economics and Management (EEG), I have to point out that the Marketing course is far from being a course that offers students sufficient resources to leave them prepared for the job market. in my personal opinion, it would need an adjustment in the teaching chairs and the replacement of some teachers who were not up to the challenge. I really missed the practical component of the course, which would give me enough experience to finish the degree with more confidence.

there is an effort over the years to improve and that is what is expected.
The programme is good but a few classes could be more related to Marketing and less to math because I will never use the math I learn in daily problems.
We could have more contact with companies and the daily problems.
