Lagos State University - LASU (reviews)

As a new student of Lagos state university, I can say that the school is really doing it’s best. I like the fact that there’s a structured academic calendar that helps the students know about the events that would be happening during the academic session.

But I really don’t not like the fact that we don’t have enough lectures in my faculty. The faculty of education. We spend hours looking for lectures room when we are supposed to be having classes. This makes it really exhausting for me to even attend classes because we barely see a free class to use.

I love everything else about the school. But I also don’t not that most lecturer don’t come to classes or even cancel the class after we are seated and ready. I genuinely don’t like that. I really hope the university authority would look to provide more classrooms for the students in faculty of education.

My programme offered excellent academic support, with professors who were approachable and knowledgeable. I particularly appreciated the diverse curriculum and opportunities for internships. However, the campus facilities could use improvement, especially the library and internet access. Overall, I would recommend this university to students who value strong academics and are willing to overlook some infrastructural shortcomings.

As a student in Lagos Stste University, you’re constantly challenged to do excellently in your studies and to be a better person. Over time, this does not only give you academic success, it makes you an excellent person and thats what follows you into any space you find yourself after school (To be an excellent person and to build your character)

The University is one of the best I can recommend to whoever who is ready for quality learning accompanied with discipline. This university is know for her overall best students provided across Nigeria as a whole, through well structured curriculum, seasoned and professional lecturers and supportive student affairs and vibrant student union.
