View moreAs a part-time Computer Science student at Lagos State University, I appreciate the flexibility the program offers. It allows me to work and study simultaneously, which is ideal for anyone managing other responsibilities. The lecturers are knowledgeable, although more practical, tech-driven learning would greatly improve the experience. The university is generally affordable, and the environment is improving steadily. There’s potential for better infrastructure and digital learning tools, but overall, I’m grateful for the opportunity.
View moreIts growing with excellence and consistency.
Thier curriculum stand out accross board, also well experienced professors.
They need to increase hands-ons projects accross board.
I would recommend it always to prospertive students.
LASU gave me a well-rounded academic experience. The programme was affordable—especially when compared to other state universities of its caliber. I studied Computer Science, and while the curriculum covered essential topics, I believe it could benefit from more hands-on, industry-relevant training.
Access to lecturers could be challenging at times, which made it important to be self-driven. On the positive side, campus life was vibrant, and I built meaningful friendships and networks that extended beyond the classroom. However, some of the school’s facilities and internet infrastructure could definitely use an upgrade to better support modern learning needs.
View moreThe university has an average grade , its a state university , and its located in the outskirt of the state making it difficult to locate and there is absence of local hostels making it a bit difficult and tedious to manage
View moreLASU is one of a kind. With it’s many campuses scattered around Lagos, it can rightly be described as the university of the city. Here I learnt activism, how to leverage consensus to stand against oppression and demand equity.
On the downside, I studied computer science, a course which was pulled out of mathematics department in 2007. I was admitted the following year, so there were only 100 and 200 level students. To put it nicely, the department was learning on the job and a lot of things could have been better at the time.
View moreLasu State University is a great university,a great citadel of learning and a place where leaders are groomed, made and furnished to face the real world
The only bad side of the school is the power bestowed on some lecturers to do and undo with student life in the aspect of giving of unreviewed score/mark to student.
Also the political life in the school is corrupt and dirty never for once free and fair election was held in that Great institution
It actually has a good environment for learning. It lacks modern technology.
It has a good large Mass area, Relationship among students is very good, and Accredited lecturers are available always available for students on campus.
