LASU is one of a kind. With it’s many campuses scattered around Lagos, it can rightly be described as the university of the city. Here I learnt activism, how to leverage consensus to stand against oppression and demand equity.
On the downside, I studied computer science, a course which was pulled out of mathematics department in 2007. I was admitted the following year, so there were only 100 and 200 level students. To put it nicely, the department was learning on the job and a lot of things could have been better at the time.
