Class schedules were pretty tight but very interactive regardless.
The lecturers were very friendly; given the kind of relationship I had with some of them. Some were also ‘off limits’ too..like you don’t want to fall out of their good graces.
As for the school environment, everywhere stands out for me. They each tell their own story in a way but over time, they couldn’t accommodate our number too.
My program has been an insightful and rewarding experience. The modules were well-structured and provided both theoretical knowledge and practical skills that I can apply in real-life situations. The support from instructors and peers made learning engaging and collaborative. Overall, I would highly recommend this programme to students who want to build a strong foundation for their future career.
View moreBefore I got into Lagos State University, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but choosing LASU turned out to be one of my best decisions. Being close to home already solved accommodation issues, and from the moment I started, the experience was smooth.
Social life on campus was vibrant, and although I didn’t participate much, I was proud to see how active and lively the school community was.
Academically, I studied Economics Education in the Faculty of Education, and the lecturers were excellent. They broke concepts down clearly, making learning easier and practical. The knowledge I gained still helps me today.
What stood out the most was how fast and efficient the system was. Unlike many other universities that faced delays and strikes, LASU kept its academic calendar running smoothly. My set graduated on time, which was a huge plus.
The digital structure of the school is another thing I loved. From personal school email addresses to accessing results online, online voting for student elections, and even digital clearance after graduation. Everything was seamless( Corona Virus had nothing on us, classes were shifted online). Exams and marking were also supported by technology, making the whole system modern and stress free.
Overall, my LASU experience was excellent. With quality teaching, a smooth academic journey, and outstanding digital systems,
When I applied to LASU I thought it’ll be easy to catch up but with what I’ve passed through In the school the lectures are a bit too strict and if we were to register for something they’ll surly collect bribe from students which is not right

My master’s degree program at Lagos State University was a one-year program and, as such, very intensive. The lecturers were all nice and ready to assist the students in their academic pursuits. I just did not like the school’s location. It is located very close to a popular bus terminal/market. The noise from the surrounding environment tends to overshadow the serenity of the school environment.
View moreLagos State University, the citadel of knowledge stands out with her outstanding and rigorous system of higher education. Additionally, it leverages technology; technical learning tools for teaching-learning activities. I would always recommend it for students. It aims to be the best state university in the West Africa by 2030. This vision gives reasons to her educational innovations, diverse contemporary researches in all aspects and fields of knowledge. LASU leverages technology beyond teaching-learning but including assesment and result preparation. LASU as well holds well-structured and organized infrastructures ranging from ICT, Medical hospitals, Cafeteria, Students’ Union and many more.
