I would recommend the students that are interested to be part of North West University because it is best with education. And there’s definitely nothing bad I can say bad about it, I enjoyed all my moments at the campus.
View moreNorth west university is very beautiful especially the potchefstroom campus . It’s full of aesthetics and the lecture rooms provide students with a good and comfortable feeling to study and focus in class . I love everything here
View moreNwu has a vibrant student life with activities and events almost every week to keep students alive and distressed from the academic pressure or stress. These events also gave room for students to socialise and connect with other students and have varsity fun.
View moreOne thing I can say is the support services are very helpful. From class reps who stand on students behalf to communicate with lecturers to facilitators who do group sessions to prepare students for tests and exams and tutors who personally help students individually to clear uncertainties .
Lecturers are welcome and willing to help students at all times.
It’s a great institution.
View moreIf I had to do it all over again, I’d choose NWU every single time. Coming from the hustle of Durban, I found Potchefstroom to be the perfect place to find my focus. The campus life is incredibly organized—no strikes or chaos, just a smooth path toward your degree.
I’m especially grateful for the helpful lecturers and the professional psychologists on campus who support students through the academic grind. Because of this environment, I finished my undergraduate degree ahead of schedule and have now moved on to my Honours. The university is even assisting me financially with my tuition, which keeps me driven to keep performing at my best. If you’re serious about your future, this is where you need to be.
View moreI’m currently doing my honours in tourism management at NWU Potchefstroom and I can say it’s absolutely amazing . We not just going to class for the theory but applying the theory in the industry practically . I love it here at NWU .
View moreI really like this university because it offers so many resources. Even if you don’t have the means to afford things, there are free options — free laptops, computers, seminar rooms, and a lot of other opportunities. It doesn’t matter what background you’re coming from; you can still get good support because the resources are free.
Honestly, there’s nothing I dislike about this university. I’m here to study, and as long as I’m getting full academic support, I’m fine. It’s the most supportive university I’ve ever known.

View moreI love our university and would hight recommend it to anyone who wants to learn and be diversified environment. Their sport culture is so amazing. One thing about Nwu is if they are doing something they go all in way above and beyond. Even when itc academics they do their best from both teaching you to helping you but it work. They revive and help develop your critical thinking skills which makes it the best knowledge and information university.
View moreMy experience as a first-year at North-West University has been both exciting and challenging. Adjusting to university life was not easy at first, especially managing my time and keeping up with the workload, but I’ve learned to stay organized and focused. The campus environment is welcoming, and I’ve had the opportunity to meet new people and experience different perspectives. Academically, the courses are interesting and have helped me grow in my field of study. Overall, my first year has been a great learning experience that is helping me become more independent and prepared for the future.
