My experience at Lagos State University was both academically enriching and personally transformative. The university offered a solid foundation in Insurance and Actuarial Science, with lecturers who were knowledgeable and supportive, although there were occasional challenges with outdated course materials and large class sizes.

One of the strengths of LASU is its diversity — I got to meet students from various backgrounds, which broadened my perspective. The environment encouraged resilience and adaptability, two qualities I now value highly. Facilities could be improved, especially the library and internet access, but overall, the campus was fairly conducive to learning.

I would recommend LASU to students looking for affordable education in Nigeria with access to committed academic staff and a real-world understanding of challenges and opportunities in the insurance industry.
