The Universität Kassel is located in the center of Germany in the middle-northern part of Kassel. Around 20.000 students are currently studying at one of the 5 locations of the university. The biggest one is the central campus near the city centre. The good thing about the different locations is that the faculties are splitted and you don’T have all 20.000 students in only one campus, so you don’t have big troubles with overcrowding. The cafeterias and cafes are cheap, provide good quality food and are well located at the campus.
When it comes to learn at the university you might have trouble finding a spot in the library unless you show up early in the moring. There is also a learning center “LEO” which is often overcrowded as well and it’s loud in there.
The professors and tutors are good and they try their best to help students with troubles and questions.
