CBS International Business School is a German business school founded in 1993. It is recognized by the Wissenschaftsrat (German Science Council) and the North Rhine-Westphalian Ministry of Science. Academics at CBS International Business School
CBS has a wide range of Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs taught both in English and German, the main focus of which is management. Doctoral Programs, MBA Programs and part-time courses are also available at the School. CSB aims to achieve a perfect mix of theory and practice through business games, internships, soft-skills courses and business projects. Teaching is delivered in small learning groups in order to ensure the individual needs of all students are met. Professors and lecturers supervise students intensively and help them achieve their academic goals over the course of their programs.
CBS offers Bachelor’s Programs in a variety of fields, including Business Psychology, Finance & Management, International Business, International Tourism Management, Business Psychology. Master’s Programs at CSB are focused on a wide range of business areas, some of which are Marketing Management, Financial Management, Entrepreneurship, Digital Transformation Management, Digital Marketing and Business Psychology & Management.
The Doctoral Programs available at CBS provide two options – Executive Doctorate (DBA/PhD) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
Students also have the opportunity to spend a semester abroad with one of the 120 university partners all over the world. This is a chance for them to experience new cultures and stand out from the crowd in the job market as well as make new friends and important formal connections. It is compulsory for students on English-language Bachelor’s Programs to spend a semester abroad but all Bachelor’s and Master’s Programs offer this option.
Campus & Student Life
CBS has campuses in Cologne, Mainz and Potsdam. All campuses are located in cities where students will never be bored. There are various activities they could do and places they could visit in their free time to clear their mind from work and enjoy the beauty of their surroundings.
CBS has students representing around 75 nations, which creates a nice international environment on campus.
The School believes in the balance between work and rest, which is why it offers many sports opportunities to its students. They can play various sports, such as lacrosse, football, basketball and many others.
