Studying at the University of Sarajevo offers a strong theoretical foundation, but the overall experience is a mix of great opportunities and certain limitations. While the curriculum is rigorous, there is a noticeable lack of practical, professional development, especially for engineering majors outside of Computer Science and IT.

​However, the networking and student life are outstanding. Being part of international organizations like EESTEC allows you to compensate for the lack of practical work by attending workshops across Europe. It’s a good choice if you are proactive, but the university definitely needs more focus on modern industry practices for all engineering fields.
