I’m doing my masters that include research. I did my undergrad in Malaysia. I can surely say that Melbourne university in comparison is far better. The exposure and experience that I get from my peers and supervisor is firsthand and in my experience definitely money’s worth. I would not have had it any other way and I’m extremely grateful to be a part of this university

It’s expensive and personally I don’t think you get what you pay for. Especially if you are an international student. I’m speaking from my experience in his 3-year program in Mechanical Systems (note that it’s not Mechanical Engineering), so I don’t know exactly how it’s been in other departments. This limited the amount that students learned in relation to their degree, and they had to spend more time teaching the basics compared to other colleges, so specializing in their final year at college could not.

Even though some students complained of unfriendly environment, I personally found the place awesome because I was able to make a number of friends.
