The management system in my university quite efficient and systematic. Every year, we, students are required to give personal feedback on our learning and courses for each semesters. It is very helpful as it could assist my university to improve its lacking in every aspects.
I am just starting my PhD journey and I could not be happier with my choice in ISM. Amazing experience with quality professors AND impressive cohorts. Working full-time, this educational focus would not be feasible if I was not able to be flexible as to when and where I take my classes. It is a tough, long, and robust path that requires focus, but the team at ISM is truly the best. They help navigate the way that will work best for you and not put you in a 'one way fits all' situation to accomplish this massive step. I wanted a global education that was through a recognized, accredited, and respected school and ISM has not just been that, but so much more.
My experience at the University of South Africa has been challenging but rewarding. As a distance-learning institution, UNISA requires that it's student be strong, self-discipline and good in time management, which helped me develop independence and resilience. The flexibility of online learning has been a major strength, especially for working students as I started my journey as a working student, and the study materials are generally accessible through the online platform as well as being couriered. However, limited interaction with lecturers and occasional administrative delays can be frustrating and require students to be proactive. Overall, UNISA is well suited to motivated, self-directed learners who value flexibility and are willing to take ownership of their studies.
NWU helps unlock students potentials. I came here as a shy person, in less than 2 years I'm a completely different person . More confidence, I am more focused , more motivated and so much more .it's a worthwhile experience being here .
I really enjoyed the courses offered by the university, especially in my specific program. One downside was that some areas of the campus lacked Wi-Fi connectivity, but overall, the institution provided excellent lectures, and the instructors were dedicated to teaching. I appreciated how the school accommodated students by keeping the library open late. The classrooms were generally clean, and I liked that access to the campus was secure, with guards checking student IDs. The campus was quite large, so getting around was a bit of an exercise but still manageable. My particular course took place mostly on one side of the campus, so traveling wasn't too burdensome unless there were exams in other locations. I loved the cafeteria, as the daily meals were always enjoyable. I am grateful to have received a bursary to fund my studies, although I found the student support associated with it to be somewhat lacking. My course in Hospitality was very demanding, with classes from 7:00 AM until 6:00 or 7:00 PM. It was one of the top three most challenging courses at the institution. I also appreciated how the campus supported students' mental health by offering counseling services, a police station, and medical help on-site. Overall, the university was very progressive.

I appreciated having a dedicated student adviser, who was helpful whenever I needed clarity or guidance. While there isn't regular direct interaction with lecturers, the system is well set up for students who are self-driven. One challenge I experienced was occasional delays in administrative communication, such as responses regarding results or technical issues. However, this didn’t affect my overall progress and was manageable with planning. I would recommend this university to anyone who is organised, motivated, and comfortable studying independently. It’s a great option for working individuals or those looking to further their education remotely.
