The Central University of Technology offers a diverse range of programmes, spanning fields such as humanities, engineering, and information technology. I completed my studies in IT, starting with a National Diploma and progressing to a BTech in Web and Application Development. The academic experience was solid overall, while the coursework can be demanding and requires consistent effort to achieve strong results, most lecturers are supportive and willing to assist students who actively seek guidance.
In terms of campus life, students who reside in university housing tend to have a more enriching experience. First-year students are supported through mentorship programmes and have access to various residence-organized events. These initiatives help ease the transition into university life, reduce stress, and create a healthier balance between academic responsibilities and social engagement.
View moreThe central university of technology offers a variety of courses from the humanities to engineering and IT. I studies the BEng Tech in Civil Engineering, and the classes where mostly good though you have to study hard to get good marks in this course and most of the professors are able to help out students when they reach out to them.
For campus life- students who stay at the universities residencies get the best of it. First year students get mentors, get to attend a variety of events planned by the residents and this helps to ease the stress and anxiety of university and can in some way help balance the academic and social life of a student.
The SRC is a quite helpful especially during registration time because a lot of student struggle with fees so they are able to help students get registered. Though if you have outstanding fees and complete your degree you will graduate but might not get your certificate.
Overall good university and I would encourage student/people to apply at it.
View moreA small university, great facilities with good lectures.
i was doing software development at had a lecturer called admire. oh he was the worst. he resigned though and was able to graduate.

View moreIt’s great they have a strong SRC that assist learners with different problems
What I dislike about it is that during registration time they have an option that allows you to register online but when you try to do so you can’t you encounter problems that needs you to physically go to campus
For lectures :They are the best but not all of them there are other lectures that can help address student grievances then there are others that are heartless
For entering marks
