The University of Free States is one of the best universities in South Africa. I chose this school because most of my family members attended the school.
I love the social events the school has. There is always something happening on campus such as controversial talks, sporting events, art shows, etc.
It is a great school, however in the past it did have some issues of discrimination. That ruined its reputation as still today it still known as a very discrimination school. Being a first hand witness, I can honestly say that there is no discrimination in the university. I just think that they still have a long way to go in clearing their image.
All in all, The University of the Free State is an amazing school.
