As a transfer student, I have been afforded many opportunities on campus. While every university has good things and bad things, the good outweighs the bad at FAMU. The staff and faculty genuinely care about the students, and want to see you succeed. I’m very happy that I transferred to FAMU.

The campus always makes sure there is something for the students to do, everyday something positive is happening on campus. I can say that our financial aid sucks and it’s so aggravating, but I feel like every university has its issues on the admin side. Other than that, I really do love the experience I’m having at my HBCU. I have a community of people who are like me and enjoy the things I do. Everyone is so sweet and kind and you will smile everyday you’re on campus. It’s a good experience!
