View moreMy experience at University of the People was positive and rewarding. What stood out most to me was the flexibility of the online programme and the opportunity to learn alongside students from different countries and backgrounds. The peer-to-peer learning model encouraged me to communicate, collaborate, and take greater responsibility for my own learning.
I also appreciated the structured courses, supportive learning community, and the opportunity to develop both technical and independent-learning skills. Since the programme is fully online, campus life is naturally different from that of a traditional university, but the international student community helped create a sense of connection.
One area that could be improved is administrative support, particularly the speed of responses to student concerns. I would also like to see more hands-on projects, regularly updated course materials, stronger industry connections, and expanded career-development opportunities.
Overall, University of the People provided me with a valuable and accessible pathway to earn my Computer Science degree. I would recommend it to students who are self-motivated, disciplined, and looking for a flexible online learning experience.
Studying Computer Science at University of the People has been a great experience. The 100% online and flexible schedule allows me to easily balance my studies with daily life, while the tuition-free model makes quality education accessible. The learning platform is user-friendly, though faster administrative support responses would be a welcome improvement. Overall, I highly recommend UoPeople!
View moreI study Computer Science at University of the People. In my opinion, I am very happy with this school. One good point is flexibility. I can study and work full-time at the same time. A normal university is impossible for my life because I must work every day, and I love sleeping on weekends.
Also, my classmates are from many countries. The discussion board is very crazy and fun. Different cultures always surprise me. Sometimes my group members reply to my messages at 4 AM.
But studying online at UoPeople is not an easy game. Every week, deadlines attack me. Assignments, quizzes, and exams are very heavy. So time management is very important. I drink three coffees every night to survive. Maybe this survival skill is the best thing I get from this school.
One bad point is that some textbooks are a little old. But the price is good, and I can study in my bed with my cat supervising me. I learn many things, so I think this university is the best choice for my life right now.

I built praetechnologies in the school in my free time. I will definitely recommend this to other people from everywere

One area that could be improved is providing even more opportunities for practical projects and student interaction. Overall, UoPeople has given me a valuable opportunity to continue my education and work toward my career goals.
View moreStudying Computer Science at University of the People has been a very flexible and rewarding experience. As a first-year student balancing my studies with daily work, the online format allows me to learn at my own pace and build strong, independent study habits.
What I like most is the practical focus of the coursework. Hands-on assignments in programming, basic web development, and math have helped me build solid technical skills from scratch. The peer-learning setup and accessible career resources also give a clear structure for turning class assignments into real projects for the future.
It takes dedicated self-discipline, but I would definitely recommend this program to anyone looking for an affordable, high-quality computer science education that fits into a busy schedule.
View moreHonestly, studying at University of the People has been kind of a mixed bag for me. On the good side, it’s affordable and flexible. I can keep up with classes while juggling other stuff in life. The online format makes it possible to study from anywhere, which is a big deal for me.
But it’s not all smooth sailing. Sometimes the workload feels heavier than expected, and because it’s all online, you really need to be self‑disciplined. There are moments when I wish there was more direct support or faster feedback from instructors.
Overall, I’d say it’s a solid option if you’re motivated and looking for a low‑cost way to earn a degree. It’s not perfect, but it works, and I’d recommend it to people who are ready to put in the effort without expecting a traditional campus vibe.
View moreI love UoPeople because it has given me the opportunity to study at my own convenience and I have met some wonderful people from all around the world. The teachers are the best at what they do and they respond to my queries very fast.
