My experience at the University of the People has been meaningful overall. I really like the flexibility of the programme because it allows me to balance my education with work and other responsibilities. As a wheelchair user, studying online also helps me avoid some of the transportation and physical accessibility challenges I can face with traditional learning environments.
I also enjoy interacting with classmates from different countries. Their encouragement during discussions and group activities has made me feel supported throughout my studies. The instructors have also helped me better understand different topics through their feedback and guidance.
One thing I would like to see improved is student interaction. I think having occasional live online video classes would make the experience even better by giving students opportunities to interact with instructors and classmates in real time.
Overall, UoPeople has helped me continue my education despite the challenges I have faced. I have completed my Associate Degree and am continuing toward my bachelor’s degree, which is something I am very proud of.
