CUNY was an incredibly welcoming university that immerses their students in a way that makes them feel both cared for and empowered. Despite never physically going to my campus, I felt a sense of community with my professors and peers through online communities made for connection and academic advancements. As many of us have experienced, COVID proved difficult in the quest to continue our education, however CUNY never wavered and strived to provide quality, lasting improvements to the ways in which education is accessible to all, no matter what the world may throw at us. The university is an incredibly diverse campus which exposed myself and my peers to many different cultures and points of views we may not have had otherwise. Each professor I had throughout my 4 years brought innovating new research that inspired students to fulfill their dreams and sparked further curiosity. I am especially grateful for my professors who worked with me to further my education upon graduation by enthusiastically writing letters of recommendation for grad schools.
