The institution has remained the best among its contemporaries because, using the resources at its fingertips, it has over the years given students the technical instruction they required to develop into contemporary global figures.
View moreDurham University is a fantastic institution with a vibrant student life, but the COVID-19 pandemic certainly impacted the overall experience. Despite this, the university did an admirable job in adapting to the circumstances and providing support for students. Ultimately, the student nightlife and overall experience made up for anything lost during covid.
View moreAll the staff and all students were very helpful and welcoming. The happy environment is very approachable and makes you get settled in very quickly. Uniform standards (smart/casual) all stuck to down to respect being given both ways. Didn’t dislike anything apart from repetitive lectures and very short dead lines. The university was very well looked after always clean and presentable.
View moreMy time at Durham University was brilliant – the standard of teaching and the delivery of lectures were engaging and effective. The modules offered throughout my course were highly interesting and applicable. I loved the collegiate system as it offered the opportunity to be involved with a close-knit community through various, regular activities such as parties, formals and balls. Whilst the quality of the course was of a high standard, Durham as an area is beautiful, with lots of history, however, the nightlife isn’t brilliant and is rather limited. There are lots of international students, predominantly from Asia and Europe, offering a good level of diversity. The career prospects are great, with lots of support when needed.
