It’s a good university, with lots of academic help , as well as graduate help and help with jobs.
I would recommend students to go to BCU, as the staff are very supportive, good facilities, provide various opportunities for volunteering and paid work internships
Good, just challenging but I feel like there is the correct amount of support for students to do well if they want to. However I feel like they can be a little tough on marking and feedback. There should be more help on previous work

View moreMy time at Birmingham City University has been very mixed. Joining in September of 2020, I feel the university handled the Covid crisis very well, and made sure we got as much in person teaching as possible. The teaching, as difficult as it was, managed to stay engaging throughout. As time has gone on, I have grown frustrated with the faculties ability to respond to emails and build a more personal relationship with their students. This can be the difference between a pass and a fail. Overall, I would rate my experience a 7/10
