Coventry University (reviews)

I spent 3 years at Coventry University whilst doing my Bachelor’s degree. I have to say, it has been an amazing time for a 19-year-old me thrown into such a mix of cultures. Studying in a different language with people from around the world widened my horizons extremely. Coventry (and the UK in general) is great for international experience. I studied in Switzerland afterwards, and the international experience was not even 20% as good as in Coventry. Awesome library, huge range of activities to do after classes. 4 stars, as Coventry itself is not the safest place 🙂 And even though it is a real student city, there are not too many things to do outside university facilities.

Decent university. Great library facilities. I would recommend it for international students who want to experience other cultures. I graduated before new design building got built, but I heard the new art &design building is great. I didn’t like all the teachers but I can say the teachers that teach specific workshops are all great.

Really good civil engineering department that I used for my bachelors and masters degrees. They could use better facilities and halls of residence around the campus. However, the teaching was really good throughout the years there.

’m currently studying Occupational Therapy at Coventry University and overall, I’ve had a positive experience so far. One of the things I like most is the practical side of the course, as we get opportunities to develop our understanding of occupational therapy beyond just lectures and theory. I also completed a clinical placement, which gave me the chance to experience working in a real healthcare environment and understand what the profession is like in practice.
The university has a good range of facilities and resources, and there are plenty of opportunities to get involved with university life. I’ve also found that there are lots of different people and courses at Coventry, so it’s easy to meet people with different interests and backgrounds.So its easier to settle.
