’m currently studying Occupational Therapy at Coventry University and overall, I’ve had a positive experience so far. One of the things I like most is the practical side of the course, as we get opportunities to develop our understanding of occupational therapy beyond just lectures and theory. I also completed a clinical placement, which gave me the chance to experience working in a real healthcare environment and understand what the profession is like in practice.
The university has a good range of facilities and resources, and there are plenty of opportunities to get involved with university life. I’ve also found that there are lots of different people and courses at Coventry, so it’s easy to meet people with different interests and backgrounds. So its easier to settle.
