The staff at BCU are very helpful in giving advice towards employability. They have a hands on attitude with students and can easily put you on the path towards job opportunities you do have to make an effort to become friendly with some lecturers however, as they only appear to want to teach their seminar and then leave. Overall, they are very good

It’s been a great experience since I started my masters program. The facilities in the school and lecturers wanting the best for each students. The library, having a personal tutor to guide you through, Amazing experience so far! I can boldly say the university wants the best for each students.

I believe my university has given me a vast range of opportunity’s that I otherwise would have been able to obtain. These have allowed me to rise above my goals and improve my skills to an entirely new level. They have been extremely helpful when it comes to placements. However I do have some reservations about some lecturers. Often times I have found that the lecturers have an attitude of “I don’t want to be here” which makes the whole class struggle when it comes to exam season (these lecturers are the odd free out of a bunch). Other than that it has been positive

Finding a university that fits your goals is hard Birmingham city is everything a student could ask for. It’s not just about presentations, assignments in classrooms, this university offers more than that. The lecturers are very supportive, friendly and have immense experience in subjects they teach. The taught process is not just theoretical but also practical based so the students are ready to enter the corporate world. Overall I suggest students who are looking for a university worth the pay I’d suggest Birmingham City University without a hesitation

Birmingham City University offers one of the best teaching staff with amazing engaging campus life. Besides the academic perspective, the student accommodation is one of the best the university could offer and the food was amazing, love the fish ‘n’ chips.

Really good course and university. It give me opportunity to study different materials and coursework. That will give me great opportunity in future life in achieving my goals in life . Have a great experience overall.

The classes are made interesting with interactive seminars that push working relationships with other students as well as the professors. It seems to me that my teachers and tutor care a lot about the well being of myself and others and they do whatever they can to help us succeed. I also enjoy the work itself, it’s very satisfying to finish my assignments and very rewarding when I find out my grades.

I studied at BCU for Master’s in Business Management. In my tenure, I was a student at a good few UK universities so I’m in a reasonable place to make comparisons. The levels of entry are at the lower end of the scale. It also appears to languish in most University league tables at the wrong end. There were some portions of my course badly planned. In particular, one of the lecturers was less than even-handed in her marking and allowed her personal opinions to affect her attitude towards other students and their work. BCU’s administration roles were horrendously not good, and that had a direct effect on my and other academic outcomes.
