Starting with the positive part, the degree in East Asian Studies is very attractive for future students who are interested in geographical areas, since it covers many aspects of the student’s academic training very well. The subjects are distributed very well and the electives helped me to get to know other realities and possible professional paths.
On the negative side, the job offers that recent graduates have are zero, and the connection networks offered by the university for Humanities students do not exist, so finding a job related to what has been studied is impossible without the internship experience, and that doesn’t guarantee a job afterwards.
Despite the difficulties, I do not regret having chosen this career, but I wish there were more tools for graduates.
