GBSB Global Business School is an international business school. It is located in Barcelona and has a campus in Madrid, Spain. The school has an international-focused perspective, offering a wide range of courses. From introductory courses in the BBA programme, to a advanced classes in the MBA programmes, the school always delivers academic excellence. The Bachelor of Business Administration, as well as the Master degrees in business-related subjects, are well-structured and open to national and international students, as the classes are taught in English, by highly qualified professionals. GBSB wants to present its students with a truly global outlook, hence the programmes are accredited by the Accreditation Service for International Schools and is recognized throughout the world. It is one of the most innovative and dynamic business schools in Barcelona. The location in the Mediterranean city of Barcelona, in addition to the great job prospects, are what attracts hundreds of students each year. GBSB Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees follow the standards according to the European Bologna Process of Higher Education in Europe. The university is also a member of the European Council for Business Education, an official academic partner of the University of Girona (Euroaula) and Enterprise Lab. Due to its excellent international connections, the school is able to offer dual-degree programmes. In order to give its students a truly international learning experience, all programmes are taught in English. Students can also study another language such as Spanish, Chines, or Russian, so that they can gain language skills for their global management careers. To be able to follow the programmes, students should be able to speak English at a reasonable level- however, students who don’t possess the necessary language skills are still encouraged to apply. They have the option of taking part in an English Language Preparation (ELP) programme before starting university.
I would not recommend this school because I believe that the educational level is very low. Many teachers are not able to speak Spanish and they do not follow the study program explained in the school’s informative brochure. Classes are also very simple, they do not achieve master level standards.
Moreover, during the application process, the school said that it would help students in finding an internship but this is not happening to many students. There is also an overall lack of organization.
In my opinion, I would recommend to enroll to other business schools in Barcelona or to the public University.View more
