I did the part-time Full-stack Development bootcamp. The curriculum was good, I feel like we got the opportunity to get to know different stacks (Javascript, React, Node.js etc) but the professor was quite inexperienced and the classes were a bit chaotic.
The part-time classes were supposed to be for people that work, but it was very difficult to keep up with everything while working (I only managed because I worked from home due to pandemic. Still, it was extremely difficult).
The worst part was the career opportunities. They promise they will help you find a job but it’s not really true. Maybe it worked before covid (organizing meetups etc). The only thing they do now is to send you some job offers on Slack. In theory, you can get your money back if you don’t find a job in 6 months. Forget about it. The conditions were not clear at all, the career advisor was unprofessional and quite useless. I did what I was expected, I didn’t get the job, and still, I didn’t get the money back.
Actually, the only people that found a job were the ones that didn’t work during bootcamp (and still, it took them much longer than 6 months).
In general, it’s probably better for people that don’t work.
