The experience of studying at Allwomen was mostly positive.
I especially appreciated the helpfulness and competence of the teachers we had during the course. The explanations were always clear and on point, and having practical projects helps a lot when it comes to consolidating the knowledge. I found a good mix of theory and practice. Some teachers in particular guided us a lot with career doubts and professional development. Moreover, all the staff at Allwomen created a nice, pleasant and safe environment for all the participants right from day one!
On the other hand, there are areas for improvement. Some key topics and tools were explained very quickly when more time was needed. When I started working in the field, I realised that I did not know many basic things. During the last month and a half of the course, there were no lessons at all. They made us use the lesson hours to work on the final project. It seemed an excessive amount of time, I would have preferred to use part of that time for real lessons with teachers. Also, if Allwomen really wants to be an international school, the overall staff and teachers’ level of English should improve.
