StudentNZGood learning, not enough applyingUC is a big university with many opportunities. Courses do a reasonable job in terms of providing students with engaging learning content. However, there is a heavy focus on learning specific concepts compared to applying skills to a future work place. (e.g., too much time writing about concepts in a 6000 word report in APA 7 compared to actually practicing those concepts in the real world). More work opportunities/learning specific work related skills should have a higher focus at UC.
