The university is great , organased but about my experience it was a littel bit hard and same professors was not good enouph …
But in general its good
About the administration and cordinators are really perfect
I like my university all side good and bad. Vytautas Magnus University (VDU) is a popular university in Lithuania known for its flexible study system, international environment, and strong programs in psychology, education, business, and social sciences. Its main strengths are student exchange opportunities and freedom to choose courses, while a drawback is that some programs are considered more theoretical than practical. I would recommend VDU to students who want an international and flexible learning experience with good opportunities to study abroad. I highly recommend my university.
View moreOverall, I have had a good experience at Vytautas Magnus University. The quality of studies is good, and most lecturers are supportive and professional. I would recommend the university to others.
However, one challenge is balancing studies with work. According to the university policy, attendance at lectures is generally not mandatory, which is helpful for students who work. In practice, though, some lecturers are not very happy when students do not attend classes, even if attendance is officially optional. This can sometimes feel inconsistent and make it difficult to manage both responsibilities.
Despite these issues, the overall atmosphere is positive, and I am satisfied with my studies and the opportunities the university provides.
View moreI really enjoyed my Erasmus semester at the university. The classes were interesting, and most of the professors were friendly and supportive. A special thanks to Professor Rimantas Dapkus, who was always approachable, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout my Erasmus stay. His guidance and encouragement made a real difference and made the learning experience much more enjoyable.
I also met amazing people from different countries, which made the whole experience unforgettable and helped me grow both academically and personally. There were a few administrative delays now and then, but nothing that seriously affected my studies.
Kaunas is a comfortable and affordable city for students, and the university has a welcoming atmosphere for international students. Overall, I’m very happy with my experience and would definitely recommend it to other Erasmus students.
View moreI really liked their organization, the speed of their response, and how they solved problems.
I actually had a problem during my exams
Less than an hour before the exam, they helped me fix an issue I was facing.
I had not yet arrived in Lithuania, and there was an option for students who were not in Lithuania to take the exam online. So I didn’t know how to access the exam, and I thought I would miss it.
But they solved the problem very quickly when I emailed them, they replied immediately. I didn’t expect them to respond and fix the issue so fast, and I really thought I was going to miss the exam.
I would highly recommend VDU to other students due to their excellent organization, fast response time, and efficient problem solving, so you won’t have to worry about anything that might happen.
