One of the things I really like about studying here is the opportunity to take business classes focused on entrepreneurship. In Japan, we do not always have many classes like this, so for me it feels very fresh and valuable. These classes do not only teach theory, but also encourage students to think about ideas, problem-solving, innovation, and how to create real business opportunities.
I especially appreciate that the classes make me think more practically about business. Instead of only memorizing information, I can also consider how to build a business, how to respond to market needs, and how to turn an idea into something realistic. This kind of learning is very motivating for me because I am interested in business and entrepreneurship in the future.
Another reason I enjoy studying here is the environment. The atmosphere feels comfortable, open, and supportive, which makes it easier to learn and share ideas. I feel that this environment helps students become more active and confident in class. Overall, this experience has been very meaningful for me, and I am happy to study in a place where I can learn entrepreneurship in a more practical and international way.

Class was not a limiting factor in the educational process at Vytautas Magnus University. I had the chance to take part in labs, presentations, seminars, scientific conventions, and more. The instructors are motivating guides who encourage a lively, conversation-based classroom atmosphere that challenges us to investigate, inquire, and create. Creating innovative solutions, and interacting with international communities have all been made possible by Vytautas Magnus University’s emphasis on experiential learning, fieldwork, and collaborative research.
View moreVytautas Magnus University (VMU) in Kaunas, Lithuania, is renowned for its liberal and student-centered approach to education. One of its defining features is the emphasis on academic freedom, allowing students to explore various disciplines, customize their study paths, and engage in open discussions. The university fosters a culture of critical thinking, encouraging students to take charge of their learning experiences.
However, with this freedom comes a strong sense of responsibility. Students are expected to be proactive, manage their coursework independently, and make informed decisions about their academic journey. The flexible curriculum requires self-discipline, as there are fewer rigid structures compared to traditional universities. This balance prepares students for real-world challenges, promoting both intellectual and personal growth.
Overall, VMU offers an environment where students can thrive if they embrace both the freedom and the responsibility that come with it. It is an excellent choice for those who value independence in education while being committed to their own success.
