My experience has been mostly positive. The lecturers are helpful and the course content is relevant. Facilities are decent, though some areas could be improved. Administration can be slow at times, but overall it’s a good place to study and I would recommend it.

At this particular University of Applied Sciences, the academic emphasis within the field of civil engineering distinctly centers on the practical aspects of on-site work rather than delving extensively into the realms of design and project management. While the primary focus revolves around cultivating the skills and expertise required for hands-on application in construction and infrastructure projects, the curriculum ensures that all students receive foundational knowledge in design tools such as Autocad or Revit.

Despite a relatively lower number of international students, the university fosters a globally oriented approach by providing opportunities for students to participate in the Erasmus program. This international exchange initiative opens doors for students to broaden their horizons by experiencing different academic environments, cultures, and engineering practices abroad. Through the Erasmus program, students have the chance to enhance their understanding of civil engineering on a global scale, gaining valuable insights that can contribute to their overall education and professional development.
