some lack of lab works sometimes, some questionable courses here and there, but it could be a demand of the local market.
talking about the job market, it seems to be active in biotechnology and agriculture, a lot of opportunities.
if you don’t mind the cold winter, its perfect destination for Biologists.

i’ve had a positive experience at VDU, the university provides a solide foundation for anyone looking to pursue a career or a research journey. It balances high academic standards, with a friendly personal touch that makes you feel home. As a Master’s student in Molecular Biology, i’ve found the faculty of life sciences to be supportive of international students and it offers access to well-equipped labs, which is crucial for biotechnology.
And the city Kaunas is a student-friendly city, and it’s easy to meet people from all over the world.

The university staff are nice and very helpful
its modern with a historical touch
decent free to use facilities like a sport center
decent collaborations with industries in the field
the program is good but some courses feels off or more like fillers. Practical work is okay but nothing crazy.
connection with the profs is easy. and the exams are just to test your knowledge not to make you fail.
I would recommend if you don’t mind the tough winter
