The lecturers are knowledgeable, and many have significant industry experience, which helped bring real-world insights to the classroom. My courses were diverse, covering everything from media studies to communication strategies, and I gained a deep understanding of how to communicate effectively in various professional settings.

While MMU is not as large as some of the more well-known universities in Kenya, it offers a close-knit, supportive environment. The university offers a diverse range of education opportunities. I learned new disciplines from my friends which to my surprise I did not know of their existence. The lecture hall are located in one area so it was easier to make new friends and discover the diverse cultural practices. The school is near a National Reserve thus the main challenge was baboons crossing over to our school. Baboons can pose safety risks and most of the time they were disruptive. The funny thing that i never got to understand was the fact that they would chase girls only.
