in my Opinion as As a first-year data science student, my experience at Astana IT University has been a mix of highs and lows. The dorms are decent but can get crowded, and shared accommodations mean limited privacy. While I’ve met some amazing friends from different backgrounds, it sometimes feels overwhelming to adjust to so many different cultures at once. The university’s focus on English as the medium of instruction is a plus, especially for us international students. However, I’ve found some academic resources lacking; certain labs could use better equipment to stay updated with industry standards. The faculty is generally supportive, but more guest lectures from industry professionals would enhance our learning experience. On the positive side, the sports facilities are excellent and encourage us to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
