I graduated in law school in 2021, law school in Palermo was really hard but it tough me the value of constance, resiliance and never give up in front of difficult, sometimes impossible tasks.
After graduating I moved to Germany and more than my education, I found useful for my surving all the social and personal skills I had to learn in order to graduate on time. Law school in Palermo is not for everyone but it surely teaches how to survive in any situation
UNIPA’s campus is honestly kind of a vibe. It’s big, a bit chaotic, full of people moving around all the time, but in a way that feels alive rather than overwhelming. You’ve got these random green spots where people just sit, talk, or pretend to study, mixed with buildings that aren’t exactly perfect-looking but somehow add to the character.
What’s nice is that you can go from noisy, crowded areas to quiet corners in like two minutes, especially under the trees where it actually feels peaceful. And with the Palermo weather, everything just feels warmer and more relaxed, like you’re not stuck in a typical “serious” university environment.
It’s not a polished, postcard-perfect campus, but that’s kind of the point—it feels real, a little messy, and very human.
View moreThe university of Palermo is not that bad as an overall university, classes are interesting, teachers are very good at their job, I’ve also lived at the campus they offer, and it was’nt straordinary but it was perfect for me, the worst thing about this university is really just the organizations and the offices, like if you have a question and go to the administration office, bewere you might exit with more questions then you had at the start, and even if they had the answer, they might say that it could take weeks to resolve the problem, so yeah, good university, but really bad organization.
View moreThe university’s main campus is located in a “citadel,” ideal for students. There are several parking lots and green areas, tobacconists and meeting places, excellent for meeting people, studying or spending free time. Each faculty is accessible and there is also a canteen area.
The downside is the organization and the secretariat, often slow in giving answers.
I recommend it for a bachelor’s degree.
Good quality of faculty and classes, good disposition of the campus and the extracurricular acitivities, but inefficient (physical and digital) administration. I hope this problem will be solved in the future with the adoption of AI for example.
