Despite being a relatively small university compared to others in Italy, the University of Udine is a very good institution that offers a great deal of opportunities to all its students regardless of the course. During my bachelor and my master’s degree, the professors were competent and many courses are tough but rewarding in terms of results.
View moreHi new students, I am Sabrina, MBA student and university tutor for the university of Udine. I am writing this review in order to shape a new and fresh idea about an underestimate education opportunity that gave me so much. Looking us from the outside we seem just a little university in a little city, that does not have much more to offer than simple programs, but this is just the package of something that can inside have bright surprises. Starting from what was already said about the size, I have to say that begin small is just a pro: on one hand professors can follow closely all their students and create a stimulating environment; on the other, students can develop stronger connection with their mates, not only in their own fields, but also between departments. Other huge highlight are the well developed scholarship system, both for local and foreign. In fact, on one hand the university offers several and differentiate scholarship for its students; on the other, the university create an overall system of direct collaboration with students, that get hired by the university for little jobs inside the institution in order to let them earn some money. Moreover, the university literally bet on its student future, being extremely placing oriented: there is a spspecific platform for job announcement; twice a month is given the opportunity to the students to have job interviews in interested companies; once a year is organized a huge employment feir… and much more. Last but not least, the university is open to international environment, offering different programs in English in different fields and having a well structured languages learning program. These are just some of the advantages related to Udine university, going fast on some others: well developed and variegated programs, efficient offences, association promotion, new facilities, good canteens, cheap renting… After all, I want to conclude my review talking about the city of Udinez: a beautiful little pearl that is not just cheap to live, but is also rich of culture and history, with good food and wine and extremely student friendly.
