View moreI am doing International Food Business and Consumer Studies. This programme covers all the essentials of the food industry. It trains us to be food professionals and management professionals. At the end of the course, the students can choose the area of their interest. The course also provides various modules from which students choose modules of their interest. This really helps one to study what they really crave for. The project works are interesting and sometimes give the chance to work along with the best agriculture or food scientists. The market research projects help to know the current market demand. The course subjects are not much hectic or boring. The various powerpoint presentations in classes help to improve one’s computer knowledge, reduce stage fear and to increase confidence. As I know, all the graduates were able to secure a job after this Master’s. In total, I am really satisfied with this course and will recommend it to others.
View moreThe Universität Kassel is located in the center of Germany in the middle-northern part of Kassel. Around 20.000 students are currently studying at one of the 5 locations of the university. The biggest one is the central campus near the city centre. The good thing about the different locations is that the faculties are splitted and you don’T have all 20.000 students in only one campus, so you don’t have big troubles with overcrowding. The cafeterias and cafes are cheap, provide good quality food and are well located at the campus.
When it comes to learn at the university you might have trouble finding a spot in the library unless you show up early in the moring. There is also a learning center “LEO” which is often overcrowded as well and it’s loud in there.
The professors and tutors are good and they try their best to help students with troubles and questions.
I spent 6 months at the University of Kassel as an Erasmus student. It was a wonderful experience and I would suggest it to everyone. The university is really nice and well organized. There are a lot of activities and services for foreign students. What I liked the most was the way in which courses were organized: there were small groups so that everyone could interact. Professors were really open and available.
Totally different from universities in Italy.
I spent an Erasmus semester in this university and I can only spend good words for the organization. There was a specific and wide program of activities for Erasmus students, including parties, trips and games. The teachers I had were all well prepared and there was always a kind and collaborative atmosphere, where students could actively participate. I would highely recommend this university to everyone!
