Studying at UCLL for one year as part of my international double degree in partnership with IAE Clermont Auvergne was one of the most enriching experiences of my academic journey.

From the very beginning, I felt welcomed by both the international office and the teaching staff. The courses were engaging, practical, and encouraged critical thinking, teamwork, and real-world problem solving. I particularly appreciated the international environment, which allowed me to collaborate with students from many different countries and broaden both my academic and cultural perspectives.

The support provided throughout the year was outstanding. Whenever I had questions or needed assistance, the staff were approachable, responsive, and genuinely committed to helping international students succeed. Their dedication made adapting to a new academic system much easier.

Beyond academics, this experience helped me grow personally. Living abroad, working in multicultural teams, and discovering Belgian culture strengthened my confidence, adaptability, and intercultural communication skills. These are qualities that will undoubtedly benefit my future career in international business.

I am sincerely grateful to UCLL and to the partnership with IAE Clermont Auvergne for making this opportunity possible. This year exceeded my expectations in every way, and I would highly recommend UCLL to any student looking for a high-quality international education in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Overall I would say I had a positive experience. UCLL is a good place to learn practical skills and foster your growth mindset. While there might be many challenges i you are determined you will make it though and look fondly back on the whole experience.

As someone who is about to graduate I look back on my time at UCLL and feel very grateful! The studies challenge us in different ways, the professors are known for their impressive careers before they started lecturing and the international experience is eye-opening. I would recommend the international business management and marketing course if you’re open to meet new people and grow in more ways that just learning about business.

While Studying at UCLL you can always count on your lecturers who will always help you, whenever you have a question / problem. There is also special study coach who is there to lend a helping hand and give all the directions you need to make your studying the best.

The Business Management and Marketing degree is great because we learn about running a business and marketing from an international perspective. They also offer many short and long term erasmus opportunities. I enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend it!

One of the aspects of UCLL that attracted me most was their emphasis on learning by doing. From day one, I was thrown into collaborative group work and challenged to find solutions to real issues faced by local businesses and organizations. Rather than passive note-taking, our classes very much take the form of workshops where we spend the majority of time working through authentic scenarios. This has helped me develop highly valuable soft skills like problem-solving, communication, and teamwork alongside the hard technical skills from my coursework

As a current student at UCLL, I’ve had a very positive experience overall. UCLL is one of the top universities of applied sciences in Belgium, and it’s easy to see why. The facilities on campus are excellent – the classrooms, labs, and study spaces are all modern and well-equipped. The libraries have a great selection of both physical and digital resources to support our studies. And the campus itself is quite beautiful, with green spaces and areas for students to relax between classes.

One thing I really appreciate about UCLL is the emphasis on interdisciplinary learning. We’re encouraged to take courses outside of our core program and explore different fields. This has helped me develop a more well-rounded skill set.
The student life at UCLL is also vibrant. There are tons of student organizations, sports teams, and social events to get involved in. I’ve made many great friends and connections through these extracurricular activities.
