At Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU), my experience has been quite positive overall. What I really liked is the practical, career-focused approach to teaching and the supportive atmosphere on campus. Most lecturers are knowledgeable and easy to approach, and many courses are clearly connected to real-world situations, which makes learning feel relevant and useful for the future.
That said, it’s not perfect. Some subjects could definitely be more hands-on instead of leaning so much on theory. In a few cases, the content also feels a bit outdated and could use an update to better match what’s currently happening in the industry.
Overall, I would recommend HNU, especially if you’re looking for a more applied and student-friendly environment. Still, there are certain courses where the structure and content could be improved to make the learning experience even better.
