The university of Duisburg-Essen is one of the biggest universities in Germany in regards to the number of students it has (40k students) and one of the biggest ratios of internationals to locals in terms of the number of international students being noticably high. the university is well located, and well equipped and has a high research output, with many vraying degrees and programmes, as well as some interesting dual studies.
