My time at OVGU has been a meaningful part of my academic and personal journey. The university provides a good learning environment with modern facilities and an international atmosphere where students from many different backgrounds come together. Studying here allowed me to broaden my perspective, both academically and culturally.
The professors are knowledgeable in their research field and supportive, and the programs encourage students to think critically and apply what they learn in practice. Of course, like any university, there are areas that can still improve, especially in administrative processes and adapting quickly to changing academic and industry trends.
Overall, OVGU offers a solid platform for students who are willing to learn, grow, and challenge themselves. It is a place where you can build strong knowledge, meet people from around the world.

You can find a university campus that offers a very large campus area and a modernly designed, well-equipped library.
View moreI really loved my time in the Peace and Conflict Studies master’s program. The classes were small and super interactive, with lots of room for participation and discussion. I also appreciated the critical perspectives we explored and the low hierarchies, which made it easy to connect with professors and tutors. Such a great, supportive environment to learn in!
View moreThe program is nice and I have found up to this point most of the courses useful. The lecturers are mostly okay and they try to be helpful as much as they can. Most of the facilities are great. However, there are a lot of areas they could improve on in all the above-mentioned fields. The student life could be better because the city itself doesn’t give you many choices about what to do.
