The education I received at Vatel University has improved my life and helped me become a competent and adaptable professional. One of my best and enjoyable aspects of Ecole Vatel is the study abroad programs. I have had the opportunity to work in various departments of the hospitality industry, including hotels, restaurants, and event management in different countries. I got the opportunity to study abroad at Vatel. I did my first year at école Vatel in France, then did a year abroad in Mauritius and came back to France. This opened me to different experiences of the hospitality industry I a different part of the world. I was equipped with experience to work in various hospitality sectors

It hasn’t always been easy but the result is there. This school trains managers and more specifically within the master’s which brings together people with the same objective and a strong team spirit.

It’s a good university but the classes are full, some of the teachers could have been more involved. However the university is well located, with many green spaces. The weather is very sunny, there is quite a bit public transports.

As an alumnus of École Vatel Bordeaux, I can confidently say my experience studying Tourism Management was truly enriching and career-shaping. The balance between theory and hands-on training stood out the most—classes were practical, engaging, and directly connected to the realities of the hospitality and tourism industry. The professors were professionals with real-world experience who genuinely cared about our growth and success.

With its professionals of hospitality teaching and a rich operational experience, the bachelor’s program is a complete formation for future hospitality professionals.
Practising in the Vatel restaurant and the two internships during the program provides a solid basis for the future. One of these internships is in a foreign country, allowing students to develop their communication operational skills, and to live a rich cultural experience.
