The major of sociology was combined with a minor in psychology. This was a very useful combination. In the major social psychology was included, so the connection between both subjects was made.__Sociology is focused on empirical sciences including research methods and statistics. It is combined with a general sociological overview, welfare states and social theory. The focus can be chosen in upper semesters. This was good as a focus. However, there are sometimes not many options for courses in all semesters, so when missing a course one needs to wait one year to retake it. Also, the amount of work is not well balanced over all semesters, some are chilled and some are hectic. In the bachelor the professors seemed very distant, however the doctorates are helpful. The overall administration is good and the online learning system is working well. There are also good exchange opportunities and Erasmus can be well integrated.__Overall, I can recommend the program if a person is interested in statistics and rational choice theory. If you are looking more for a theoretical perspective, it is better to choose anothy one.
