    The worst experience

Do not study here, there are other better universities. The pensum are obsolete. The university is only interested in money. There are no international agreements, they do not have a good ranking, they do not promote research or culture of professional development

I do not recommend studying here. I am a graduate of this university and I believe that the professors in the Faculty of Architecture have serious problems in their treatment of students. During my time in the program, I witnessed and experienced situations of intimidation, mistreatment, and unprofessional behavior from some professors. Furthermore, I perceived that there were always privileged groups or cliques that influenced the academic environment. In my experience, the environment became hostile and disrespectful, negatively impacting both the learning process and student well-being. Humiliating comments, public put-downs, and unconstructive criticism were frequently normalized, creating demotivation and a constantly tense atmosphere. I also felt a lack of institutional support in the face of these situations throughout my studies. After graduation, communication from the university was virtually nonexistent, except to offer additional training programs or plans. The graduation experience also failed to live up to the effort made during years of study. Considering the torture I endured during those years of effort, the enormous financial investment, and the physical, mental, and psychological toll this degree demands, I find it unacceptable that the experience I received fell so far short of the expectations the institution itself promotes. It is deeply frustrating to dedicate so much time, energy, financial resources, and personal effort to a program that, in my case, did not offer the level of support, respect, or professional preparation I expected. Furthermore, I believe there is a significant gap between what is taught in university programs and what the job market actually demands. After years of rigorous academic study, I discovered that I had to learn many of the skills necessary to perform professionally on my own or outside of university. This reinforced my feeling that the effort, time, and resources invested did not translate into a return on investment or preparation that met the real needs of the profession. Academic rigor may be necessary, but it should never be confused with humiliation, contempt, demotivation, or disrespect toward students. Subjecting them to a hostile environment under the guise of preparing them for working life loses even more meaning when, once they graduate, institutional support is practically nonexistent. Quality education should combine rigor with respect, learning, truly useful skills, critical thinking, and a genuine commitment to the professional development of its graduates. Precisely because of the seriousness of the situations described and the impact they had on my education and professional development, I have no intention of remaining silent about this experience of being scammed. I believe that prospective students have the right to be aware of these kinds of situations before making such an important decision for their academic and professional lives. Therefore, I will make my opinions public and seek to have these concerns brought to the attention of the appropriate authorities and reviewed by them.
