Overall, my programme provided a solid academic foundation and helped me develop critical thinking and research skills. The lecturers were knowledgeable and approachable, always willing to guide students when needed. I particularly appreciated the practical aspects of the course and how it connected theory to real-world situations.
However, there were some challenges, such as limited access to certain learning resources and occasional delays in administrative processes. Improving facilities and communication would make the experience even better.
Despite these minor issues, I would recommend this university to prospective students because it offers a good learning environment and opportunities for personal and academic growth.
My school (uniuyo) is inclusive and student focused, however the system and study mode might be unfavourable for most students, I don’t know if it’s the same in other schools though.
I like the fact that it’s inclusive, carrying everyone along but I don’t like the system, and the organization of things. I also wish the study mode could be more advanced. Truth is, you get what you see.
Based on my personal experience, recommended is on a 60/100 scale.
University of Uyo is a great institute of learning; the environment is well-structured, friendly, peaceful and highly conducive for learning.
The lecturers are open-minded to transfer knowledge to the students.
This is my alma-mater and I highly recommend this great institution.

View moreThe University of Uyo offers a safe and secure environment for learning, free from cultism, and I appreciate its strict stance against indecent dressing, which promotes discipline. However, management’s approach to implementing policies can sometimes feel abrupt and poorly communicated, leaving students unprepared for changes that directly affect them.
