I’ve just graduated with a Masters in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. This course was relatively comprehensive and has set me up fairly well for a career in the automotive industry.
There are a number of group projects over the course of the 5 years which have greatly helped in securing a job. The careers service also helped overhaul my CV multiple times and help me prep for interviews.
The vast majority of lecturers are always willing to help with any questions that you may have about the course. They’re also willing to help if you have any issues with your course, or at least point you in the right direction for help.
Halls is a great way to start off at uni, although I would recommend the cheaper options, not only because of cost, but they are also more open plan and you can meet more people that way.
Heriot Watt University is an exceptionally outstanding university.
As an international postgraduate student, the multi-cultural environment of the university is definitely welcoming and conducive for socialising.
Infrastructure is beautiful, lecturers are well trained, friendly and always willing to assist students with understanding lessons.
Experiences at Heriot-Watt University would love to be relived over and over again. You are definitely assured of value for your money.
I have really enjoyed my university as an electrical and electronic engineering. This degree gives the students a wide range of knowledge in different disciplines, which is reinforced by the doing of multiple individual and group projects as well as labs. The only thing I would change is the possibility of specialising more and more variety and budget for the projects.
