The University of Victoria has a beautiful location and excellent faculties. The environment is very dynamic and lively, with a strong sense of community. There are many opportunities for students to get involved in sports and other extracurricular activities, and the school spirit is infectious! Overall, it is going to be a wonderful experience.

During Covid what i noticed was that while the transition to online learning was challenging for some professors, the majority adapted well and continued to prioritize student learning and engagement. The professors who put in the most effort to create opportunities for interaction with their students made a positive impact on the quality of education.

I thoroughly enjoy my time at UVic. The city is welcoming, neat, secure, and visually appealing. The campus itself is stunning, and the air quality is exceptional. The individuals here exhibit a strong commitment to progressiveness and environmental consciousness. There is also an abundance of attractive and health-conscious people on campus, creating a vibrant and active community of young individuals.

While the University of Victoria campus is gorgeous and inviting, the experience of being a student in the theatre department left much to be desired. From needlessly competitive attitudes proliferated by professors, a lack of resources for student lead work, and a highly demanding schedule the theatre department at the University of Victora leaves much to be desired. On the other hand, all of my elective classes taken at UVIC were engaging and inspiring.
