Coming from a foreign country I truly appreciate that the campus of UVic was welcoming, easy to access and safe. In addition, the delegation of older students helping newcomers and the different activities to motivate students to interact with each others helped me and so many others to feel like we weren’t that far from home. Teachers were knowledgeable, understanding and patient, which helped due to the fact that so many were from different countries. I couldn’t live a better experience.

Studying at UVIC has been a fantastic experience! The learning system here is top-notch and easy to understand, everyone is super helpful and nice.The professors are amazing and always willing to help when you need it. The campus is in a great location, and the university really cares about its students. They organize fun events and extra programs to keep things interesting, and the facilities are excellent.

UVIC is a global community with students and scholars from all over the world, it’s like a big melting pot of cultures, ideas, and perspectives. This diversity gives us students a chance to learn from each other and work together, which makes us better prepared for the globalized world we live in. Plus, the campus is such a lively and interesting place to be because there’s always something new to learn about people and cultures from all over the world.

I am still in the program and absolutely love it. The professors are very informative and are very helpful if you email asking a question or stressing a concern. Much similar to the Victoria community UVIC is full of open arms welcoming students from all over the globe as it proves to be solely beneficial in many areas of student life.
