Hey! My name is Todor, 20 years old and I am in my second year at New Bulgarian University. I study Marketing there.
So, I would like to start quickly with the price, which is at an average level. Of course, it varies depending on which programme you choose to study.
What I like about NBU is the free online platform – Moodle, because it’s very easy to work with, very efficient for saving time because you can do tests, send homework, course works, etc and you don’t have to be at the university for such things. Another thing I enjoy is the freedom of choice about what courses you would have an interest to study(this comes with the cons of not liking the particular course and the complication to change it for another due to the lack of free spots in other courses). Many of the professors there are pretty young, vigorous and ambitious in actually teaching you something.
Things I don’t like about NBU:
Sometimes, at the end of the semester, when everyone is expecting their grades or deadlines for tests and course works, many of the professors aren’t much active in Moodle, leading to a lack of important information.
I honestly never eat in NBU, because of the expensive and nonexistent food, also there are no good (or should I say any) restaurants or cafes around the university.
I think I shared my main likes and don’t likes about New Bulgarian University!
