I think the University of Queensland is a beautiful school and has wonderful facilities that are provided to the students. The campus is lush and there are many study spaces available. Classes are good as they can be as long as you’re engaged in the material, I feel that in my programme specifically there are less opportunities for international students in regards to internships through school, or co-ops. Expect to get lost on campus so have a map with you.

View moreBeing accepted at UQ was a blessing, and I’m happy to call myself a Bulldog. Both the academic program and the opportunity for involvement in a wide range of extracurricular activities are excellent. The housing system at UQ is one of its many distinctive features. You are chosen at random to a college as a freshman, where you will live in dorms for four years. During your four years there, that college is your home. Every college has its own traditions and customs. The social dynamics and academic environment are highly distinctive.
View moreChoosing University of Queensland was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The friendships I’ve made here are some of the strongest and most lasting I’ve ever had. Not only is UQ a place of unparalleled academic opportunity, but it’s also a place where you can truly find yourself. While there are other universities that can offer similar resources, what makes UQ unique is the sense of community and belonging that you feel as a student here. I’ve spoken to students from other Ivy League schools, and none of them have experienced the same level of happiness and fulfillment as I have at UQ.
